Data protection is a matter of trust and your trust is important to us. We respect your privacy and personal sphere. 2. COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information about factual or personal circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address, as well as all inventory data that you provide to us when concluding a contract, registering and creating your customer account. Statistical data that we collect, for example, when you visit our websites and our web shop and that cannot be directly linked to your person are not included. For example, these are statistics about which pages are particularly popular or how many users visit certain pages online.
In our daily business, we only collect the data necessary for order processing and legally required data.

2.2 CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

The data (name, telephone number, e-mail) necessary for the processing of the traditional business are provided by you for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without these we cannot conclude the contract with you. They are kept in the ERP hosted by us and you cannot manage them directly yourself. In the event of adjustments or requests for information, please contact either your contact person or the information centre mentioned in point 1.

2.3 WEBSHOP CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

For every shop customer who registers accordingly, we set up password-protected direct access to the inventory data stored with us (customer account). Here you can view data on your completed, open and recently shipped shop orders and manage your shop data. You undertake to treat the personal access data confidentially and not to make them accessible to unauthorised third parties. We cannot assume liability for misused passwords, unless we are responsible for the misuse. If you do not log out, you will remain logged in automatically. This function enables you to use some of our services (e.g. 'MyFUTOR AG') without having to log in again each time.

2.4 COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Data protection is very important to us. Therefore we strictly adhere to the legal regulations when collecting, processing and using your personal data. We collect, store and process your data for the entire processing of your purchase or sale, including any subsequent warranties, for our services, technical administration and our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. Within the framework of order processing, for example, the service providers we use here (such as transport companies, logistics companies, banks) receive the necessary data for order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted and is not carried out by any of the service providers we have entrusted. For your order we need your correct name, address and payment data. We need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and communicate with you. Your personal data will be deleted, provided that legal storage obligations do not conflict with this and if you have asserted a deletion claim, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

2.5 USE OF YOUR DATA FOR ADVERTISING PURPOSES

In addition to processing your data to process your purchase or sale at FUTOR AG, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, specific products or marketing campaigns and to recommend products or services that may interest you. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time, either as a whole or for individual measures. 2.5.1 NEWSLETTER

We use the following procedures for sending the newsletter: written registration for our trade fairs, registration by e-mail to a contact person or the double opt-in procedure, i.e. you receive an enquiry on the basis of an order or a visit to a trade fair and we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail. If you do not wish to receive any newsletters from us at a later date, you can unsubscribe at any time. A notification in text form to the contact data mentioned under point 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient for this purpose. Of course you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

2.5.2 COMPETITIONS, MARKET AND OPINION RESEARCH

In the case of any competitions, we use your data for the purpose of notification of winnings and advertising our offers. You may find detailed information in our conditions of participation for the respective competition. We also use your data for market and opinion research. Of course, we will only use this data anonymously for statistical purposes and only for the companies of FUTOR AG. Your answers in surveys are not passed on to third parties or published. FUTOR AG uses and processes your personal data for market and opinion research for its own purposes. You can object to the use of your data for market and opinion research at any time, either completely or for specific measures. 3. COOKIES

Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. However, we would like to point out that functions on our websites may be restricted if you do not allow us to set cookies.

What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser and that store certain settings and data for the exchange with our system via your browser. They do not cause any damage. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit us.

Which cookies does FUTOR AG use? Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (end of session) (hence session cookies). When you visit us again, we automatically recognize that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you prefer. What data is stored in the cookies?
FUTOR AG uses cookies for Google Analytics, for Matomo (Analytics-Tool), to register you automatically on pages with login and for forms to store temporary data. We try to avoid cookies.
Only an identification number is stored in the cookies themselves.
This number contains neither your name nor an Internet address (IP number).
As long as you are not logged on to our site, this ID is not linked to your name or other personal data. We do not transmit any personal information to third parties, i.e. even if you log in, this information is not transmitted to third parties. We use cookies from the analysis tools to see which of our pages are visited and which products arouse the most interest, as well as to identify any technical faults.

How can you prevent the storage of cookies?
You can set your browser to only accept cookies if you agree to this. If you only want to accept the FUTOR AG cookies but not the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the setting in your browser "Block third-party cookies". Normally, the Help function in the menu bar of your web browser will show you how to reject new cookies and how to switch off those already received. We recommend that you always log off completely after using shared computers that are set to accept cookies.

4. LOG FILES

Whenever the pages of FUTOR AG are accessed, usage data is transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this process contain the following data: Date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address, referrer URL (the URL from which you accessed the website), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information of the browser used. We use these log file data records only for technical diagnostic purposes, to find and correct errors faster and to optimize server settings.
The log files of the web server service are usually deleted automatically after 4 months or after reaching a capacity limit, depending on which condition occurs earlier. These log files can also be deleted by us at any time, e.g. in order to move the server or when certain file sizes are reached.

5. WEB ANALYSIS

5.1 GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics is a service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of our offer by Google. The information collected by the cookie about the use of our website (including your IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. 6. SECURE DATA TRANSMISSION

Your personal data is securely transmitted by us using encryption. This applies to your order and also to the customer login. We use the coding system SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Furthermore, we secure our websites and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

According to the basic data protection regulation, our customers have, among other things, a right to free information about their stored data, as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of data.
